Hey guys just checked out hannibal rising for the first time, i heard so much negative responses about this movie that i never went to see it, but after giving it some thought and seeing it at the video store last night i decided to check it out, i absolutely loved it and am very disapointed i waited so long, i cant believe that some of my friends and family didnt enjoy this and am totally boggled on how they could not have, this movie in my opinion was a great insight in how he got to be such a feared killer, but it also keeps you rooting for him to kill, and kill again, if you havent seen this wonderful addition to the allready horrorific series then i would say ignore what you have heard and see it for yourself, i didnt think a prequel to silence of the lambs could be this good, but i am going to watch the rest of them again tonight, and after seeeing hannibal rising im definately on the docs side, he may be insane but its justified by all means!!! Juat wondering what you guys thought about it.....

Great film, but that did NOT fit Hannibal character at all. I don't even consider it part of the Hannibal trilogy, I just think of it as it's own movie.

The book sucked balls. And since the book is always better than the movie, i wil never watch it.

I didn't get to see it in the theatres. Just watched it a couple weeks ago. I really liked it! The young Hannibal was cool. Check it out.

I liked the movie. I also just saw it a couple of weeks ago. My only thing is, I don't think the actor looked quite right as a young Hannibal.
