It was amazing, I loved it. You guys gotta see the film. Just don't go in thinking of it as a remake or even comparing it to the original, go in like I did remembering it's just a re-imagining. Great film, and Danielle Harris' rack is AWESOME.

The back story was cool but beyond that the rest of the film seemed a little rushed to me. The Laurie Strode character didn't do much for me nor did her friends. Kinda sucks because they were such a huge part of the original. The Michael character on the other hand was better that ever and very well adapted! Overall it was a cool flick...

I think the reason you felt that way is because in the original they only focused on them, in this one the whole story was about Michael, he was the lead character in the film so they focused on him more.

But at the same time you want to at least care a little for the victims or their deaths don't mean as much. You have to kind of know them a little ya know??

Yeah i saw that Danielle Harris sex scene...very real...down to the dialogue and everything!!!..I mean, who the hell says "you're so fuckin' warm"...in a regular flick anyway?...very nice to see D.H. topless...she didn't last as long as Jamie Lee Curtis but, oh well.J.

I had free passes for this last night (Thursday). I really liked it and thought Michael was awesome. I thought it was funny on how many "name" actors were in this! Seemed like EVERYONE from House of 1000 Corpses and Devils Rejects! Sybil Danning? Dee Wallace Stone? Brad Douriff? Cool stuff! I like that he spent as much time as he did with developing Michael's character in the beginning. Crowd seemed to love it.I really dig Rob's movies and glad he got to work on this. Can't wait to see what comes from him next!Dave

I got to see this early on Thursday...Overall I am split on this one. I like it, but I hated alot about it too. I liked the first part with Mikey as a young boy and how they touchedon his mental issues. I really enjoyed the smaller characters... Bill, Sid, Ken Foree, Brad Dourif, Clint Howard, Lew Temple, Danny Trejo.BUT...Sherri Moon's acting sucked. Sorry. Sounded like she was reading. The little kid Michael putting on the mask??!! Jesus H. Christ, how lame.Michael being seen and yelled at by the girls??!! Totally Sucked.Cheerleader Whore wearing a SLAYER shirt??!! Whatever.
