Best Way To Pay?

Hey guys!I haven't been here for a long time, but I dropped in recently cause one the most prominent members here posted an item for sale, that I have wanted and searched for "forever". Now, presuming that I can trust this person, which I guess and hope I can (since he's been around here since 2004 with like 2000 posts an everybody knows him) I pretty much rule out the possibility of him scamming me... <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":thumbsup:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> But... what is the best way to PAY? <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"rolleyes.gif\" /> I live in Sweden, he's in USA. The item is worth $450 + shipping... and when checking shipping costs with UPS and FedEx I get prices around $150-$300 just for the shipping of a piece of plastic? Is that really resonable? And what about customs... everything's so blurry. There doesn't seem to be any easy and quick answers? But I have the money and I really want this item... <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":unsure:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"unsure.gif\" /> What would you do? Pay with Paypal. That way if anything goes wrong you can get your money back. As far as shipping goes, doesn't matter what it's made of. The weight of the item determines the cost of shipping.

$150-$300 Seems really high. How was it going to be shipped? I cant see it costing more than $50 from those companys but I have never sent anything international using them. Actually I just sent a Hockey Mask to someone in Sweden using USPS and it only cost about $15 or $20 and got there in a week.And yes Paypal is the best way to Pay, I use it all the time and never send M/O any more.

agree paypal, ive shipped alot of things overseas through ebay some on the heavy side shipping has NEVER been over 25$ somthings not right i could ship a body for 300$ lol

Their prices are crazy! I was shipping a mask to Austrialia for example.... they wanted $150 USD - $250 USD (forgot which company was higher) I then checked into USPS and it cost me around $40. So, have him ship it USPS.

Yes USPS is the United States Postal Service, And I would think the person would want the payment before he ships the item.

I'd say you're probably looking at around 3 lbs for the box, packing material and the mask itself and yes, USPS is the United States Postal Service.-Joseph
