I directed him to the bathroom!Ok, i went to the Collectormania event in Milton Keynes, U.K. on Saturday. I wanted to meet George so we got there early just to find a great big huge queue and the tickets being handed out meant it would be at least 4pm before i got to see him.I also had a mask for Chris who is George's manager. He also manages Eileen Dietz (Linda Blair's Exorcist stunt double) who is a friend of mine and she ordered a mask from me for her manager to display in his office. The mask came with us because Eileen agreed it would be quicker and easier just to hand it to him rather than wait for International shipping. Anyway, Chris was nowhere to be found, so i was walking around with this zombie head all day long, but a few people asked for my card so that was a bonus. At about 1pm, we decided to get a coffee in the Costa coffee shop, and we sat down, then who should sit at the next table but George and his wife! Out of respect for him, i kept my mouth shut. The guy was on a break and probably didn't want to be talking about anything horror at that time.Anyway, i want to the bathroom... the guys room was locked so we had to use the ladies. On my way back to my table, i was stopped by George who asked me where the bathroom was, so i had to explain to him why he would have to use the ladies room and directed him to it.So then as he was going to the bathroom, i just quickly said to his wife "I really don't want to bug you both while you are on your break, but i have something for George's manager Chris, do you know where he is please?"She said thanks for being considerate because George was really tired today but she called Chris for me and he arranged for us to meet at 6pm at their hotel nearby. I met him, and George and his wife were with him too so we all sat and had drinks together for a couple of hours! What a great end to the day, and i was offered a lot more work which is under discussion at the moment. It couldn't have gone better <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Smile\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" />Also smoked a cigarette outside and was joined by Marina Sirtis from Star Trek who also sparked up a smoke. I found it funny to see a Betazoid smoking my brand!

That's really cool. Most people wouldn't have been respectful of his break time, so I'm pretty sure he was pleased about that.Congrats on the future work too! I wanna see you working on one of his "dead" films. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" />

I was at a restaurant with Gunnar and no one bothered him at all. I am sure people knew who he was. I was once having dinner with John from SOAD and not only did no one bug him but the restaurant ignored us and treated him like crap. He was pissed and had every right to be. Me I was like "don't you people know who this is?". Great story above, it's great how people can get good things with a little patience. It's very cool to hear about the drinks and stuff. You'll be telling that story for years. Congrats! Jason

Thanks guys... It's nothing related to movie work, just a few commission pieces for George's personal collection and his manager had a quiet word with me saying he also wants something making for George's birthday. I'm sworn to secrecy but it's different to anything i've ever done, and i get to keep the molds too so there may be a small run of them available after George has received his. That's all i can say about that for now. When we first got there, the first celebrity we saw was Marina Sirtis, and she had bright red lipstick on, and was snacking on gum which looked funny in itself considering that we all see her playing a mellow ladylike character. She was very nice though but she is only human, lol. There's some pics of her at the con on the Collectormania 12 forum.I think most people would understand that famous folks don't want to be disturbed when on a break. It's common courtesy to just let them get on with it but i guess there is always some nugget who doesen't realise that, lol.
