Just wanted to give everyone a reminder and heads up on the raffle in the classifieds. It is pinned at the top of the page. We have over 1800 members here. If we can get even 100 tickets sold that's 1500$ towards Chris's situation. So please, I know not everyone has the means, but if you are capable of buying a ticket, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> Danny D

If we only get a few tickets it's really not worth giving up a lot of merchandise even though we definitely appreciate the people who already bought tickets. I assumed there would be more of a turn out. I guess we should of taken a poll first?

it's a real bummer . maybe it's not my place to say this but it kinda reminds me of when people would go and say they would buy a mask as soon as it came out because they just "loved" it but once it came out then they seemed not to care that much to order . the main cause for all of this is to help someone out that we all know and care for that is in real need of some help . c'mon don't be a scrooge and remember that Christmas is the time of giving . i hope you all remember this when it's your time in need . mike, <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"<_<\" border=\"0\" alt=\"dry.gif\" />

Right, i just bought a couple of tickets for this, but here's a possible suggestion if it doesen't work out.You could refund anyone who has pruchased tickets, and then request mask donations again. I know many including myself were wanting to offer prizes but enough were already offered. Just take all donations to be sent to a designated organiser, then sell each mask on Ebay... I'm sure this would be easy to organise, and you know Ebay will see your fund grow. Then Chris gets the proceeds minus the Ebay and shipping to buyer fees. Best to get each donator to send their offering in at their cost first to avoid any problems arising.A sticky thread with links to each sale could be added on the forum so we can all see how it's going. If you decide to go with this idea, i have a couple of offerings for you to sell.

Yes howeverWe have been thinking, we will need at least 50 tickets sold, but i will set it at 40 in order for this to work. I hate to think that only 15 people enters, and while this is a good chance for the people who entered to get a better chance, it just not fair to the donaters who are offering up there pieces for this.If we dont get 40, we may be forced to just send everyones money back... come one guys help out!!I have only sold 8 tickets.. outta the 8 sold, 6 people bought them, 2 of which purchased two.

Come on people, 678 views on this topic and only 8 tickets sold?!Chris is a great guy and worked hard to produce great pieces for us horror fans, this is your chance to help out a friend, fellow horror enthusiast, stranger, it's Christmas time, a time for giving, all the Christians that were posting in the 'The Golden Compass Controversy' thread, buy your ticket, all the people that post here with pictures of the masks THEY make, buy your ticket, all the people that post here every day, buy your ticket, all the people that check in every day and never post, buy your ticket, all you people reading this now, GO BUY A TICKET NOW.'Oh it's for him to say that he makes and sells masks, he has the money to do it'Bullshit, i struggle just like everybody else, i have bills to pay and a family to support, this vision some people have of mask makers rolling around on a bed made of money is just bollocks.I'm putting my money were my mouth is and i will buy 2 tickets and if i win i will ebay the items and send the money to Chris from all the night owl members who bought a tickets. It's not a huge amount of money for a ticket, the organisers have worked hard to make this as accessible as possible for you all so don't just sit there thinking this does not apply to you, you may have never heard of Chris or purchased from him that is no excuse, your a member here and so is he, treat others how you would like to be treated. If your a member here and you haven't bought a ticket................................................GO BUY A TICKET NOW.
