Just opened this today. I bought him from liquidaluminum and it was a great deal which went perfectly... Here's some nice pics i managed to get using my new camera.<img src=\"http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e212/Bosskat/frd2.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /> <img src=\"http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e212/Bosskat/frd4.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e212/Bosskat/frd1.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /> <img src=\"http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e212/Bosskat/frd3.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />Well, the deal went perfectly until the UK postal services got their hands on it. The parcel was delayed by UK Customs for over 2 weeks, then they sent me a £62 ($124) bill for tax. I got the letter on the 30th of November and it said i had to pick up the mask and pay the importation tax before they would give me the parcel. For them to deliver the mask to my door, i would have to pay them the tax and then add another £12 for delivery. I eventually paid the tax and picked the item up. I'm currently taking them to court for reimbursement of all the money they ripped me off for, and for the shipping costs that liquidaluminum paid to them. Liquidaluminum for delivery to my address. Well i have it in writing that Parcel Force (a UK "delivery" service) would only deliver if i paid them a further £12, which shows that liquidaluminum didn't get the service as per the contract he entered into with USPS. The delivery wasn't completed as was paid for. I decided to take a taxi to and from the depot and i asked for a written receipt from the driver so now i'm claiming for my travelling expenses too (£23).I repeatedly tried e-mailling the UK Customs dep't after finding their phone was constantly busy but never did get a reply so i got my solicitor to take out a small claim against them. He looked at everything and he said there is no way they will win it. That'll teach them to try and sting me after delaying my goods for so long!.. little old me taking a Government department to court! lol. Anyway, liquidaluminum was a top guy to deal with. None of this was his fault in the slightest, thankyou mate <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Smile\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" /> The thing is, i've had so much stress over this mask, i've had it over a month and only opened the box today. It's kinda left a bitter taste in my mouth knowing i've paid nearly $500 in total for this thanks to the inept UK postal system. I'm seriously considering selling him now because he's hard to look at in the same light after all the unforseen stress and expense. THANKYOU PARCEL FARCE!!! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Sad\" border=\"0\" alt=\"sad.gif\" />

Hehe, i'd be a happy guy if that was all it cost me. If i do sell it, it still won't make near the $500 i shelled out, but when i look at him, i just can't hold back angry thoughts of how the customs thieves screwed me over.I'm going to give it a day or two and then if i decide to sell, he's going into the classifieds section. It is a brilliant mask, but it's more useful as a bust because it's smaller than i thought it would be. If it was cut to wear, it would never fit my fat head, lol.

JekyllMd, that's just so generous of you bud, i'm going all misty just at the thought of your kind offer, but i'll pass anyways thanks <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"laugh.gif\" />I was just going to give up all hope of getting anything back but my solicitor is a good friend also. I happened to mention to him what had happened and he pretty much begged me to give him the job of getting my money back, lol. I didn't think of suing them until he suggested it. He wrote to them, but has had no response so now he's filing the court case. It's more to do with UK customs than the parcel carriers, but it was just one huge mess around which cost me dearly.

Hey Daz,From now on when getting parcels from overseas, get the sender to send it with tracking# then ask him to mark it as a GIFT and value at $50!!This way you will never be charged custom fees EVER!!!! and marking the value that low is safe as you have a tracking# to trace the parcel.
