i know this isn't typically a board about musicals, but i'm just curious who else has seen this and what you thought? i just came home from it a little while ago and loved it, though i've never seen the stage musical. very dark and gloomy, as Burton's films generally are, but a great story and very nasty kills.

I'm going to be biased posting here because I absolutely LOVE Burton/Depp collaborations. Not a fan of musicals but I really, really like this film. I'd recommend it.
