It wouldnt suprise me.... so far ones in the works out of NOES and F13th are Scanners, Motel Hell, My Bloody Valentine and a few others. I dont mind remakes to a certain point But this is getting stupid. Can anyone make a original film anymore? Look at "The Girl Next Door", the movie had some stolen moments but it was a adaptation of a novel. and it was rather good. Fido...i love this movie.. hell even Cloverfield..... what ever happened to sitting behind a typewritter with no one around and writting a great original horror film. Hopefully we will see that, with Michele Sovai coming out of retirement and Dario Argento coming back to the helm full force. even Romero is creating new films, even though some not the greatest IMO hes still doing his own thing. only if Fulci, D'Amato, Mattei were alive... they could revive the stagnant horror trend of remakes. John carpenter is another that needs to come back. Christine, The Fog, Halloween prime examples. Hell i even like Vampires!. But im saying enough of te remakes one every so often is fine but its like every horror flick that is coming out is a remake.just my rantMatt
