Got pics finally, between bein sick and just about going insane trying to find my green acetate for the lenses, it's taken a while to get these done! But got em!
This is a British made, SAS current issue S10 AVON gas mask. Used by the Special Air Service this mask is well above and beyond the requirements for combat. Fully guarenteed for Nuclear Biological and Chemical agents this is one tough as nails piece of equipment, and has quite a menacing and intimidating visage.Has side mounted filter, 40mm threaded, front exhalation port with horn type voice transmitter, secondary voice transmitter port on side for use with communications devices, integraded drinking straw system with front lever for straw placement, and 6 point rubber strap harness. With this mask I got a brand new, sealed Russian made filter, which was a nice bonus, since I thought it came with a used filter. It's olive, so a pretty cool contrast to the black mask! Here's a few shots of just the maskThen me with my tactical baliclava, and combat helmet for good measure. More pics in gear coming soon
