This was always one of my very favourite projects I've ever worked on, first time I ever picked up an airbrush and had a blast working on every aspect of this helmet! I was REALLY happy with how it came out, and still am, but I'm always one to want to improve as much as I can, and the interior of the helmet was something I wanted to get to match my happieness with the outside, so the other night I played around till it did! Had to be a combination of wearble and comfortable, yet have a bunch of cool stuff, and look functional and real. I had a kit of interior parts I bought for the helmet a while back, I used 3 of those, the back power unit, and the side visor modulators, I also added some parts to them as well. I added in a circut board with 2 jacks, one that goes to a view screen over the right eye, one that goes to a 'recharge' terminal. Also from the board comes a speaker, and mic set up and various parts that go to the range finder. None of it actually works Wink but looks like it really could, and that's what I was going after Wink So here's the pics! TOUGH friggin thing to shoot, the inside of a helmet.

Trav man, I bet you could have bought a cheap halloween voice changer and just taken it apart. Then you could have had a mike that actually worked!

ya know, i have seen a lot of really really cool things in my time on this board. This is....the absolute coolest of them all Travis. I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I would have never thought about doing that to the inside of the bucket....geez......i really don't know what else to say...Tommy

Thanks a lot guys! I really appreaciate it, took a damn while but I'm pretty pleased with the outcome. Now just need a mirror to put in my Detolf until so people can actually see the inside of the helmet LOL Thanks Tommy! A few guys get doing the insides, to me it can be as fun and involving as the rest of the helmet, and really adds that extra touch. I would LOVE to do something awesome to my Trooper helmet interior, seen some amazing jobs on those!I was thinking that about Han in Cabonite, but I don't have one, so went with the gold Vader WinkI've got a couple voice amps I would use with Fett, and do with the Trooper and Tie Pilot, only problem installing a working mic in a Fett, is no where to put the speaker really that wouldn't muffel it badly, Trooper you can use the aerators as mic tips. And without that, you'd just get brutal feedback!
