I have just received a Pennywise bust from Alexander Sanchez of the HMA. The bust is excellent and much better than the pictures reflect. He sold me one with everything finished except the eyes, some people have the eyes painted but I have decided to have some custom made glass eyes put in for a more real effect. The problem is this is made of resin and I'm practically scared to death to try and cut the eye areas out!! Does anyone have any suggestions, tips, warnings (etc) on how to cut these eyes out successfully without cracking the resin? Will this require a great deal of skill? Any help would be appreciated!

I suggest drilling a hole in the center of the eye and work your way out. It's not as hard as you think. It also depends on what type of resin it is.

Will a decent resin crack when being drilled? I also wondered how (the best way) I should protect the rest of the painted bust so it won't get dirtied up from the drilling.

Ya I would drill a hole and work my way out as well...BUT, you want the final edge inside the eye to be thinned from the inside. If it's too thick, the glass eye won't sit right in the socket. Do you know what I mean?
I'm not European, I don't plan on being European. So who gives a crap if they're socialists? They could be facist anarchists, it still wouldn't change the fact that I don't own a car.

    DON'T EVER CHANGE!

If you are looking for a great Pennywise this one and the one by Bump in the Night from a few yearsback are the only ones I have found that I recommend...excellent stuff. This bust looks MUCH betterin person. Here's the pics from the HMA with the eyes painted instead of cut out: and here is the customized case I had made by amyd that will display the bust:and this is the basic look of the eyes I'm shooting for (looking forward of course):Now if I could only find a proper double ruffle clown collar to match the one like Pennywise's.I've tried to contact LigersMasks for a couple of weeks but no reply. Anyone who knows whereI could find this throw me a bone!! I'm having a sewage cover replica made and gerard helpedme find some decent talons. Any other ideas let me know guys!
