Update On Kydneys

well guys, i went to my clinic today after work and found out that i have to increase my treatments..oh yeah. the good thing is that i do them at home. its called peritoneal dialysis. my doctor surgically implanted a tube down into my peritoneal cavity and i drain out all my fluids and replace them with dialysis solution every night. the main problem is that i\'m hooked up to my machine for 10 hours everynight from now on until i get a transplant. it sucks being tied down but its much better than hemo dialysis. i dont know if i had explained how my treatments work to you guys or not, but now you know. i used to have to do 8 hours every night which wasnt too bad. if you guys have any questions or are curious how it works just let me know guys. it sure helps having this site and all you guys to chat with about the thing i love the most....horror stuff. thanks again for all the support guys.

lol, thanks bro. i gotta tell ya, i have been on dialysis now for over a year and for about the first 4-5 months it hurt like hell when all the fluids were drained out. it just cramps ya up real bad and you get really weak, but after a while you get used to it. its weird. its pretty uncomfortable now with my new treatments but its still not as bad as when i first started. thanks again. i could complain but then i think....what would old J.V. do in this position..oh yeah he would just regenerate some new kydneys i guess. lol.

I was hospitalized when I was younger with a kidney disease... not much fun! I didnt have repeated treatments or anything and I can only imagine how much they suck. Best of luck to you bro.
