Following on from a thread on the RE forum, thought I would post on here too.I just picked up 2 new burmese pythons:here's the male:<img src=\"http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg253/aidanmoore/DSC00482.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />And here's the male and female (she's albino)<img src=\"http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg253/aidanmoore/DSC00484.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />excuse the pic quality. He's about 8ft at the moment and she's about 9ft.Here'sa pic of a fully grown one to give you some idea of the adult size:<img src=\"http://www.reptilekingdom.com/hugesnake2.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />They top out at anything from 12ft avg for males and females can get in excess of 18ft.I've also got 2 common boa constrictors:<img src=\"http://i.pbase.com/g6/24/11924/2/82138347.h9M1dUqh.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://www.animaladventuresparties.com/images/hpim1397_wags.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />and also a bull snake:<img src=\"http://www.venomousreptiles.org/data/classifieds/images/10007.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />I'm hoping to get another female boa soon as a breeding female for my 2 and possibly breed the burmese too next year once I've got some weight on her. Get some albino babies!

I just don't get the fascination with these things...what the hell do they do?...and technically they are cold blooded so they don't count as a pet!...lol.J-

They are fascinating. To me they're not really pets, they are a hobby. But I do care about them and look after them so I guess it's somewhere in between. sure, they don't love you like a dog, but they are special in their own way. It's hard to explain unless you have it in you to like them

Jyou say they're not pets but look at the 4th pictureAdee trained the one snake how to read the paper, that has to be a better pet than a dog who can only carry the paper for you <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"laugh.gif\" />

Awesome burms, I have a adult male and want to get a albino someday but I dont have the room for another 7 foot cage plus food costs. And your right snakes are not pets they are more of a hobby to people like us, I also have 6 other snakes and 3 tortoises and 8 box turtles...I will get some pics up later.

White-Sider I like your pets dude. Chinchillas are great, so soft to touch and make a really nice pet. And your Ferrets are cool I like them. My parents used to won a pet shop when I was a kid and I grew up with these kinds of animlas. Juts looking at the pictures makes me miss the good old days, lol. Nice one. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" />
