So far there has only been the one mask that was done by Eliot Brodsky. He sold two copies himself and then it was a halloweenmaskassociation.com exclusive of 7 copies. The only figure ever done of Madman Marz was one I had commissioned by Monte Ward. Eliot did the madman sculpture and only made two copies....I purchased the master copy from him and production. www.theHMA.net is the link for the Halloween Mask Association where I sold the limited first limited run of madman masks. The thing is, when the mask was released there were only a few who wanted to purchase it....which is why such a small number were sold. BUT since it was discontinued, over the past few years I have heard constant request for Madman masks or gotten repeat emails asking for one. I cast, painted, and haired the madman mask in the photo above in Knewbys post and the entire HMA run... If I am remembering correct they were $250 each when I sold them.. and I have seen these masks re-sold for as much as $500 each ! If I did another run the finishing work would be similar to the one shown above. I still own the master copy and production for this madman mask. Its here in the back room at my shop, in perfect shape. I have been getting pushed lately by more than a few collectors and a couple artists who want to see the mask re-released for another edition. *** SINCE I posted this info an hour ago I have had 4 people message or email saying they want in on the second edition. Looks like this could possibly be a GO ! Lets give this a couple more days to see who else chimes in , and maybe I can make the new mold as soon as this weekend and start the masks next week !ChrisPS.. love you too vez.
