Hey all, just noticed this rare part 4 Kruegear glove on e bay. I'll post a picture as well as the link in case e bay removes the guys auction. You hardly ever see Kruegear gloves these days, he's wanting $425 for it! Ouch! lol. That used to be a damn cool looking site Kruegear. Does anyone here know who that glove builder was? Was it anything to do with Chris from Top Shelf? Or was it someone else? I'm just curious to know is all. <a href=\"http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Freddy-Krueger-pt4-nightmare-on-elm-street_W0QQitemZ250346861443QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item250346861443&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1301%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318\" target=\"_blank\">http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Freddy-Krueger-pt4-n...A1%7C240%3A1318</a><img src=\"http://i452.photobucket.com/albums/qq247/el_mariarchi_01/bf01_1.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />

I think it's outrageous how much people pay for these things. Ken Hastings' Part 4 is nearly identical to the Kruegear and is LOADS cheaper. I've seen a Kruegear Part 4 in person and I really can't see much of a difference between the two. Personally, Ken's part 4 feels more comfortable to wear. You're just paying for the name.

I had a kruegear pt 4 and they are pretty sweet, That being said thanks mark for the compliments. I think they where around 400.00 brandnew anyway. Travis made that glove right there no doubt not chris from the new kruegear.

I've looked at the Part 4 from Travis and I couldn't tell the difference between the two except for the blades. His were a little more like blades and you could have cut yourself with them. But the templates and aging techniques looked identical so whatever it is that you do... you have it nailed, IMO.I'm simply jealous. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Big Grin\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" />

Hey.. I gotta admit. As a fellow glove builder, I wish I knew how he does his Part 4's.I'm sure you will stumble upon the solution one day after much trial and error probably. I seem to remember sending you loads of info on aging copper tehniques and so did Gerarrd and possibly some other members too. Its gotta be there somewhere. And Mark, your gloves have come along heaps and are looking sweeter and more accurate all the time. I look forward to seeing your hero edition part 1 glove. Take care,James. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" />

Honestly I think $425 is a very reasonable price to charge for a piece of artwork like that, given the amount of time and effort Travis put into the detailing. I think that may have been what Travis charged for them new. And on the pricing note, I think Ken charges far less than his pieces are actually worth. But that's just me...

I have seen a couple of other metal gloves on egay lately, but I'm glad I'm getting my gloves from Ken (hopefully) and I have my numero uno coming next week courtesy of chaos... Thanks brother!! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" />
