I have been aquaintences with Nick Castle (aka. the first Michael Meyers from Halloween 1) for about three years now. He made me and my friend dinner one night last year and wore my mask and signed it. He also signed my DVD of Halloween, My poster of Halloween and my DVD of The Last Starfighter(which he directed). Anyway, his wife actually cooked and we just BULL$%ITED about what it was like on the se of Halloween and the head tilting he came up with, that still is the freakiest look ever to hit the screen. He\'s a great guy and loves his fans.

The way I met Nick was that I live in L.A. and I went to a Halloween party about 2 years ago and I was dressed as Jason. A guy came up to me and we started chatting about horror movies and other Hacker Hero\'s. He said "oh yeah, I am really good friends with Nick Castle." I was like "yeah...okay dude...sure you are." He said let me call Nick and set up a time for you to meet him. So he did and we went over to his house and he showed me around and we chatted a bit about how he gave me nightmares as a child. He laughed and asked me back for dinner sometime. So I took him up on it. His wife is a professional chef. We had Indian Cuisine..it was amazing. Anyway, I haven\'t talked with Nick in about a year but it\'s usually this time of year when I\'ll try to get in contact with him. It was a really cool night and It was fun seeing him wear the mask and having him sign my stuff. The funny part is, is that Nick has more of an attachment to "The Last Starfighter" than he does "Halloween". If you want to get on his good side, talk about how you love The Last Starfighter....Thanks

do you know where he keeps his myers mask that he wore? i remember seeing it last in an interview and it was behind him sitting on a table and it looked in somewhat bad shape . i was just wondering how he keeps it safe from looking like those TCM masks

I actually liked The Last Starfighter, very campy 80s movie right there. You are a very lucky guy to get to mingle with one of the most influentual horror characters ever.
