I gonna reshape my DMC 4, I always found it too round. So if any one could post some methods of reshaping and perhaps pics of your part 4\'s so I could get an idea of shape I\'d be grateful Big Grin

    Thanks

only methods i know of is the oven...or hot bucket of water.....but im not sure about the legistics of doing those.

well when you reheat to reshape, you might destroy the paint job.... when i reshape, i use a little oven eye, and a pair of gloves and just heat little areas at a time. one thing though: i do this before its painted, so i don\'t know how it will go if you try it after its been painted... might not work. anyway, if you try to heat a large area at once, it will take longer, and then when it is all heated, it just becomes ...mushy. good luck though.[Image: bcpt401.jpg]

Thats right VF_31 I just wanna make it slimmer and wrap a little. Thanks for the tips folks. I think I\'ll go with the blow dryer option. Oh yeah The13thDreamShape why post if you have nothing to contribute?

I\'ve used the oven method plenty of times and it works fine for me. Put the oven on 350 and place your Hockey Mask on a cookie sheet and bake for about 40 seconds, then take it out and reshape it w/ your hands before it cools. You may have to repeat this a couple times to get the desired look you want. I can not guarantee that this won\'t remove your paint, but I have done this w/ several acrylic painted hockey masks that were sealed in w/ a clear coat and it worked great!

I heard hot/boiling water works best. There is no chance of melting it into mush if you do that. If you put it in the oven, and suddenly the mailman arrives with your Nemesis mask, and you forget all about it, yer screwed... Tongue  I would be wary about sticking a Hockey Mask in the oven... That\'s just me.
