    hey i hae a don post myers mask that was re painted, its a so so mask but i noticed today the chin looked funny so i touched it and the maskjust deterorated all gooey like(just under the chin) so now thers this hole. im not too bummed but wat causes it i dont want it to happen to my dream demon or hack hoof

    EXACT thing happend to my DP, I even made the same thread. What happened to it is called dry-rotting. I cant explain it too well, but that is what it is. Sorry man, it is kinda downhill from here, it\'s like it spreads or sumthin.

    o well not a big loss but are t5hyere any steps i can take to prevent it from happening to my more expenice peices

    i know how ya feel my don post leatherce is so rotted the only thing left of it is the tape which kept\' it together all the time its like chewing gum, it sreads fast it really messed mine up good and some parts are really crunchy good luck with that try sprinkling some baby powder on the inside or corn starch otherewise yer basically screwed

    Keep your masks close to a humidfier(not right in front of it) and try to keep a window open around it. Latex can either get too dry or too wet, so try to keep in the middle.

    there isnt like some kind of l@tex lube or something you c@n put on them? bec@use on @ c@r if you keep the rubber bushing @nd stuff like th@t they wont dry rot

    my keyboard is broken i have been buying other stuff instead of getting a keyboard. but ill just copy & paste everytime i need to use a. i like this forum alot its hard not to want to talk with you guys. but ill just paste untill i get a new keyboard.
