So I finally got around to seeing wolverine tonight and needless to say I thought it was one of marvels better flicks. I think it was my favorite X-men movie along with X2. It seemed to be a little more gritty and I liked that about it. The comic nerd in me would have liked to have seen deadpool in a ninja mask, but beggers can't be choosers. Anyone else see it?

I watched the 3pm showing earlier today... very enjoyable!!! I thought the whole opening sequence was really neat. But overall I was entertained all of the way through it. I'd see it again.

***SPOILERS****I'm not much of a stickler for comic to film accuracy but I'm a big Deadpool fan and I absolutely HATED what they did to him. It was cool in the beginning with Reynolds still as a human but that garbage with Weapon XI was just was too unbearable for me. How can you sew the mouth shut of "The Merc With A Mouth"? That's just unbelievable. Deadpool could never teleport or shoot lasers from his eyes and he sure as hell never looked like Baraka from Mortal Kombat II. Also, they threw Emma Frost in the gang that Xavier rescued....she was NOT a part of the first class. Also, didn't feel like they did much justice to the supporting characters (and yes I realized this is entitled Wolverine). Now on with the good stuff about it. I did like Jackman's portrayal of Logan as always he never fails. I especially liked the scene with the helicopter. When he lit it up by creating sparks on the rock I really enjoyed that. Loved the opening battle scenes. The abomination they tried to pass off as Deadpool aside, I enjoyed the fight between said abomination, Wolverine and Sabretooth. It was pretty neat.

My expectations couldn't have been any lower for this movie after seeing the terrible trailers for it. That being said, I hoped it would be so bad it was funny but it wasn't. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be but it was not good at all. They would do something pretty cool then follow it up with something really dumb. And how many times can a dude drop to his knees and scream to the heavens in one movie, lol?And the cgi was some of the worst I have ever seen. It hardly rated a Sci-Fi channel movie.Movies like this are what destroy the validity given to comic book movies by films such as The Dark Knight and Watchmen.

I agree with a lot that Dan said. The knee dropping, horrible cgi, etc. Especially with the planes. Other than that, it was better than I thought itd be. Definetly enjoyable.

Being a fan of Deadpool and Wolverine, this movie was awful to me. This was almost Xmen 3 and Spider-man 3 bad. I feel they ruined the story and characters, amd didn't utilize any of the casting they did. What they did to Deadpool was laughable, like what they did to Dark Phoenix and Venom. Movie was a huge waste.

I'm actually surprised at how many people dislike XMen 3 and Spiderman 3.... as they were both my favorites in the series. I never read Marvel comics so if it has something to do with it not being true to the comics, i dunno. I just found them very entertaining. (Spiderman 3/X-Men 3)

I have to agree that the CGI was garbage in some areas... And I just don't get it. I have see a lot more complex cgi scenes look better, but the scene where woverine was in the farmhouse bathroom and drew his metal claws out and was sctratching them together looked like a cartoon or even worse. I Think they could have done a WAY better job with the claws. I don't understand why they didn't make them look like real metal, such as aluminum. Even the real prop claws arn't even metal... I think they are painted to look like metal if I am not mistaken. hmmm

Some of the claws are metal, plastic painted like metal.I have a pair of metal sideshow claws and I have copies of the plastics claws as well.As for the movie I liked it it could have been better as far as the deadpool designs they should have given him a mask and gun. Also they should have shown more war scenes those where too fast. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" />
