What Ive done in the past to seal a slit up the bask was taping the inside of the mask with tape along the slit so its tight and sealed. Then add some latex into the crack to seal it up. Wait until it dries then pull the tape off. Make sure to wipe down the inside area where you will be taping with a damp cloth so it removes the powder and helps the tape stick!

For the eyes i like to tape the back, then add bits of cotton mixed with latex. Stuff it in the taped hole, shape it, let it dry, then go back with a qtip or a small paintbrush and dap latex over the exposed cotton if there is any. You can paint over to blend the colors, or mix paints with the latex that your using to patch.
