More Remakes

So the other post i made got closed about fvsjvsa so i am going to say that this is not set in stone but i was reading on joblo and they said that they are intrested in remaking the great "The Fog" carpenter is not going to direct but will be invoved somehow. This is the one that shocked me apparently he has also expressed intrest in remaking halloween, what a bad idea huh? I just thought id let you guys know this and dont take this as if it is absolutely going to happen but someone needs to put a stop to this kind of stuff

Remake the Fog? and HALLOWEEN!! :angry: No..no no no no no NO!! that should not happen, Halloween and the Fog are fine the way they are, they should not be modernised or improved what so ever. I meen crap they cut bubbas arm off in Tcm remake, what are they gonna do? Make Myers lose his F**kin legs?...anyway, I really dont like this, Fog and Halloween are two very Wicked Films, two of my Favorite movies to watch, and Shouldent be remade, and whoever makes the remakes should just die a horrible and grissly death.

considering all Myers masks since the first 2 movies have kind of sucked. I don\'t understand how they could possibly redo HalloweeN. Without that mask, and that lighting, and Nick Castles build and physique, it\'s just not gonna be anywhere near the same.

I\'m sure in time they\'ll remake all the old \'classics\' to try and cash in. Remake Nightmare on Elm Street, HalloweeN, Friday the 13th.

Sure, why not. TCM made money right, lets redo em all.

I don\'t think they would remake Friday the 13th, ANOES, or Halloween. They\'ve just had too many sequels. I could see \'em putting out a new installment though.

The Fog remake is set to happen, with Carpenter and Hill producing it. However, he feels it is someone else\'s turn to direct as he\'s already made his version.

All the mentions of remaking Halloween have been in passing, and nothing has even been remotely confirmed. Granted, I personally hope the powers that be have enough sense to leave it alone, but at the moment there\'s really no cause for concern.
