Hey Gang,I've seen a few posts here recently about fellow NIGHTOWLs who've turned out to be scammers. Can you please list their usernames for me so that I can ban them from The HMA as well. If they'll do it here, they'll do it everywhere, and we need to run these guys out of this community ASAP! I'm sick and tired of hearing about fellow collectors being taken and we need to send them a message LOUD and CLEAR, GAME OVER!Thanks and take care,E.A.

I think that's a nice idea <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"tongue.gif\" /> It makes me sick hearing stories of scam... Some just stopped collecting stuff cause of this.... So go ahead and good luck.

you're getting a 50/50 deal with this as yes it would be nice to post who the scammers are so the public can know who to send their money to and know they are in fact getting the item they paid for instead of PMing a mod asking who is a scammer and if they should do the deal everytime they want to buy a mask . but on the other hand , if we post their names then it starts a bashing thread and the person(s) who posted the names will either get a warning or maybe banned from this site as well as it's not allowed to give info like that and then we look like the bad people . so yeah it would be cool to find out that knowing your money is spent well but also getting the short stick at the same time <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mellow.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"mellow.gif\" /> .mike,on a side note , are we talking just past few weeks scam or all together because i've had my share since being around .

Careful with a list like this.. I'd hate to see someone put someone on the list merely because someone else didn't like them, or had a dispute that they didn't feel was resolved, but the other party did everything they could and/or operated legally. It's a good idea, but as an "after-the-fact" list, I think you could be asking for trouble. There's two sides to every story, and although rip-offs certainly occur, there's no clear cut way to determine that every name given to you is indeed a crook.I have 100% good feedback on EBay, I had won an auction through a buy it now, and paid immediately through the link. He refunded the next day and his feedback was "Deadbeat bidder, ignored repeated emails. I sent the item, he never paid and ignored all my emails!" I was like WTF?! Luckily, I was the only one that he'd gotten this way, and there were enough of us complaining, that Ebay checked with Paypal and gave me, and the 20 something other people he'd nailed in the previous month, back their feedback scores (they usually never do that). If that were to happen here, the unlucky victim might be screwed.I think it might be better to do something where every transaction, moving forward, is reported, and then if there's a problem with one of the people involved, THEN a third-person or group, get's involved. At that point, if the claim is worked out, perhaps a warning and justification is added (ie- "Late in getting me the mask","My dog ate it.. had to make customer a new one") Or if it goes without a hitch, both people go on a "good transaction" list with the item and price listed next to it. That way if there are a lot of bogus excuses for late goods, or inferior products, potential customers can see the pattern. Everyone has bad days, and that isolated event shouldn't hang someone.By listing the price and Item, you can see the difference between "He's totally reliable, trust him enough to buy a $2000 screen-used prop from him." versus "He was awesome, I'd buy from him again, I bought three pencils!!"It needs to be comprehensive like that, or there's always going to be the question whether or not everyone/anyone on the list truly deserves to be there.

anyone with LEGITIMATE information should send their opinions via pm. there are good reasons it isnt allowed publically and we should respect justin enough not to mock him or his rules on his very own forum.(not directed towards you, e.a. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"wink.gif\" /> )

It's cool guys.I'm just sad to see a few chodes ruin it for the rest of us. I'm sure a good system will be figured out so the bad guys can be sifted out.Take care,E.A.
