i think you can still see the hole in the 2nd pic but if you look at the 1st one again , the top right corner above the hole you can see that the blade has a point to it like the corner of a square but in the 2nd pic it seems to be rounded off . mike,

Actually, I think they wanted to give the impression that he melted the blade to the fingertip instead of soldering it. Of course we know it was soldered, though.
