Finally, this movie made it's way to our little town. Quite a neat little horror movie. Thumbs up! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> Go see it!

I was really pumped for this movie, but lately I've been hearing very mixed reviews. Many are saying that it was a huge viral marketing scam and the actual film doesn't come anywhere close to expectations. I can see that... the whole million votes to get it released nationwide seemed odd. I'm pretty sure they planned on releasing it nationwide regardless, but that just upped the anticipation and talk. The trailers look interesting though so I may check it out. I heard there are 2 endings though and the latter release doesn't have the good one (which will probably only show up on the DVD release w/ the alternate). Supposedly the first ending was too much for the public or something.

If it means anything...I'm a grown man; 38 years old and I have a great girlfriend. It takes a LOT to get me scared. Last night after watching this movie, I slept with the hall way light on. The movie freaked me out.

The movie loses its effect it you read too much or know too much about it going in. The audience was packed when I went to see it and this movie truly is frightening for a lot of people. People were screaming, jumping and you could just sense the feeling of terror when things "get quiet". It didn't scare me too much because I read too much about the film before going in and it's not the kind of terror that does it for me. My sister and her two kids didn't know anything (never even saw the trailer) and they got freaked out. Blair Witch scared me more.

I have to say I did not like this film at all. I didn't read much about it, and the place was packed, but I was very, very disappointed, and was not into it. Now this is only my opinion, and can def see how many would enjoy the film, just wasn't for me is all. I think it was a cool idea, and it was done well for the most part, guess I am just into a different type of a horror movie.

Hmm......What knifegloves and vorheesfanatic are saying makes me think it's another Blair Witch. Although, I enjoyed the BWP....it might have been over-hyped.Hmmm........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................I'll see Zombieland this weekend !!! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" />

I found it to be scarier the second time around even. I don't know why that is since I knew what was going to happen. My palms were sweating and my heart was pounding a whole lot more than when I saw it the first time. The audience was really into it. Screaming, yelling, laughing, nervous tension that you could cut with a knife, etc. My brother nearly flew out of his seat during one scene... I had a blast!
