A bust is usually displayed and can be made out of several things(Latex, silicone etc.)But you could cut some of the latex ones I suppose,I'm sure someone can give you a better answer but I hope this helps a little...

Yeah, it'd help to know what the bust is. More often than not, a bust is made ONLY for display. A common difference between masks and busts are that masks will always have holes cut in the face for vision and breathing, where a bust will be uncut, because it could mar facial features like having cuts in the eyes or cuts in the mouth. Sometimes busts are foam filled. This process fills the mask with a foam so that the bust may retain its shape. This foam cannot be removed. At least I think, because it adheres to the latex. If there is no foam you could prob cut the bust to wear. although you'll have to be really careful. Also, one last thing, some busts are actually too small to fit your head in, so you'd wanna check the size before you cut into it. I think that's about it. So yeah, busts are display, masks are to wear AND display.

I was looking into getting Jeremy Bohr's Brute. Some call it a mask and some a bust.

You can turn a bust into a mask if it's made from Latex and not foam filled. You'd have to cut a slit up the back and cut the eyes out. It's risky if you don't know what you're doing.

I collect statues, figures, masks & busts. Most of my bust are solid (not wearable), usually made of polystone / resin and quite are heavy. example: Here's a pic of my Mike Hill 1:1 Hulk Bust My questions for all you guys is, are masks good to use as Busts / Display pieces?I want to keep my collectibles for a very long time & i'm affraid a latex mask will deteriorate after 20 years.Thoughts / examples ?Thanks in advance!
