Metallica In Charlotte, Nc

Hey fellas. I know this is completely off topic, but I had an extremely exciting weekend and thought I'd share some pics. First up I traveled to Greenville, SC to see KISS this past Saturday night. It was the 17th time I've seen them live. Immediately after the show I drove to Charlotte, NC to catch Metallica (8th time overall for me) on Sunday night. I ended up hugging the rail at the edge of the stage all night. Caught opening acts Lamb of God and Gojira too. Scored a couple of guitar picks from Kirk Hammett. I was there too man!!! It was freakin amazing, they played so much better than on the Madly in Anger with the World Tour. That's cool you were there, I was up top. I shat my pants when they played Turn the Page, totally didnt expect that. Did you get the Mp3 of the show afterword?

I totally didn't expect Turn the Page either. It was awesome they played Fight Fire With Fire too and dedicated it to original bassist Ron McGovney, who was at the show.Our seats were the very last row on the lower bowl. But we always sneak down to the floor one way or another and work our way to the stage.

I seen Metallica play last week and they put on a great show. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":thumbsup:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> I went to their hotel after the show and met the band.Lars & Kirk are awesome but James is not a nice guy in person.

Great pics, seriously they look like they were taken for a METAL magazine.I saw them in Newark, NJ about 6 months ago, ashamed to say it was my first Metallica concert, YES I was on of those people raising my hands when Kirk asked ,"Who's a Metallica Virgin?"<b>What you think of Lamb of God?</b> they're an acquired taste, I friggin love em, brutal & techincal. Their drummer (Chris Adler) is off the charts. Gojira's drummer is also worth mentioning. Glad you had a good time!
