Spoilers: - Amanda is seen only in flashbacks. She was with Cecil, witnessed Gideon getting killed. Hoffman knew, and that's what the letter she read in Saw III was about. He stated that if she didn't kill Lyn (I think), he would tell John that she knew about the death of his son. - Jill is in on it all. The box contains 6 envelopes for the people in the final trap, which she assists in setting up. The sixth envelope is for Hoffman's test, which she puts on him at the end. - Erickson and Perez hear Hoffman's voice once Seth's tape is decrypted. He kills the lights, stabs Erickson in the neck and stabs Perez in the stomach. "Who else knows about me?" he asks Perez. She replies "everyone," then dies. - Jill puts the reverse beartrap on Hoffman at the end. He smashes his thumb with the device to get his hand out of the strap (he's on a chair), then sticks the mouthpiece between bars on a window to prevent it killing him. He narrowly escapes, with the right side of his mouth cut open, looking up and screaming, then the movie ends.
