<a href=\"http://tinyurl.com/yzzynj4\" target=\"_blank\">http://tinyurl.com/yzzynj4</a>Shouldn't ANOES of all the horror reboots hold a hard R rating? It's Freddy Krueger people. One of the most villainous, crudest "slasher legends" we have ever seen. The simple fact that they hint that he was a child molester should tell you something about where to take the film. Make this gritty and hardcore, not an MTV late night film. Are we way off base here, do you care or is the rating the least of your worries about this film. What do you NIGHTOWLs think?

There's no way no how a Nightmare/Freddy movie should be anything other than rated R. Is it a money thing where a PG-13 rating may produce more ticket sales?

    if they go PG-13 then there's no way i'm wasting money on it . it'll be no different than AVP 1 <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"<_<\" border=\"0\" alt=\"dry.gif\" /> mike,

Much like adding "3D" to the title nowadays, PG13 films do better at the box office generally speaking. I just won't see Freddy not being Freddy and Freddy is rated R. (thats a lot of times typing the word Freddy) <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"tongue.gif\" />

I won't waste my time on a PG13 bastardization of this franchise.

Oh dear. Not looking good. They say about trimming the 90210 bits? How about ditch <u><b>ALL</b></u> those bits. This film needs to be scary, gritty, and get under your skin and unnerve you, if its not an R rated movie then I dont think I'm going to enjoy seeing a watered down NOES film just so they can allow younger people to see it. Still, I'm going to see it with an open mind and draw my conclusions from having seen the finished cut.

It's all about the money now a days, I really hope that they get their heads out of their rear and keep making great movies. NUF SAID!

Bogus.Brad Fuller has said on his Twitter account:"I read it. I can't understand how anyone could think this film could be pg13. there are graphic kills...""Please relax- of course its rated R."

With child molestation and child murders I doubt that it can without strong cuts.
