Just thought I'd share this photo. It's the completed glove that features the new simulated heat burns on the copper tips. And I'm SOOO glad I figured out how to actually wear the glove so it looks more like the one in the film (i.e. the backplate lifting up off of the back of the hand despite it being attached by all three rivets).

I still feel like some other builders have a leg up on me on certain things, though.Example... Ken hasting's new Part 1 weathering. I LOVE the weathering on his copper. I'm pleased with how mine looks but there are some builders out there that still have techniques that make the copper look TRULY old. Also, some buildes have techniques on distressing and aging leather that surpasses me. I try my best but I can only do what I know how to do (since those weathering secrets from other builders remain just that... secret) so I can only aspire to improve to be just as good. If I ever get there, I'll be pleased as punch.

Ive owned quite a few part 1 gloves, and none have ever actually fit comfortably. I was never able to really move the finger joints like on most other gloves. Your gloves really seem to function great.Nice work, Mark...
