I picked up a set of the Thundercats figures which had paint wear so I decided to upgrade the paint to make them more accurate to the old school cartoon. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> The Mumm Ra took me a while to finish as I added cloth cape, mummy wraps & skirt. I repainted the face & added proper eyes. I also repainted the symbol, boots and arm collars. I had painted my dog figure to look like his dog Ma-Mutt. I will make his double sided fire sword in the future. The Lion-O I repainted the face, outfit, sword & claw shield.I used to have a killer set of complete original figures that I always regretted selling so made this project for myself for fun.

Thanks for the compliments on the paint ups.Every time I watched the Thundercats dvds It had always bothered me that I sold my huge complete set.I would have never touched my originals but it is fun to paint up & modify figures that have wear.I have a few other figures of the main characters that I am currently painting up.

thats really awesome dude, i used to have both of those, their eyes lit up when you put this battery thing in their backs. I just warped back to 1985.

I honestly thought that they were going to re do the Thundercats just like G1 Transformers, G.I. Joe, Ninja Turtles & He-Man with more improved figures. That was the main reason I let my original complete Thundercats set go.I think that it is only a matter of time before they are redone because the fanbase is very loyal especially in the UK. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> I upgraded the paint on my Panthro, Tygra, Cheetara, Wilykit & Wilykat.
