When Will This Bad Luck Stop?

Hey everyone... I've been desperately trying to catch up on my outstanding glove orders and I finished one up today (yay!). I started working on another one and took a break for dinner. My mom gave me a knife to sharpen and while doing so, I sliced my finger to the bone... directly on the knuckle. So... here I am typing with one hand and the other one completely wrapped... and once again unable to work on my gloves.When will I catch a break?Pardon my self-indulgence... I had to vent.

I hope everything is ok. I got a cut on my knuckle at work and it sliced it to the bone. Went to the doctor and found out my tendent was severed completely and had to get it sewed back on. 1 month after surgery and i have most of my motion back but will be at least 3 more months before completely healed. I feel for ya man.

Sorry to hear that Mark, I too have had this happen LOL 3 years ago and it still hurts too this day. Mine may have been a bit worse because the blade went thru my finger and out the other side might have hit a nerve IDK never went to the doctor was back at work the next day LOL. ooo i know how you feel . one day when i was younger and still working on vinyal models , i was working on a Robocop and there was a piece that had a few tiny parts that needed to be cut off from the excess piece and i was holding it in one hand and the hobby knife i nthe other . stupid me , i pushed the knife into it too hard and the entire blade went straight into my thumb from the very tip of my thumb as far in as it could go . between the bone and the nail and man did that hurt like a mother-humper lol ....
