Well, perusing through electronics department of Wal-Mart and i found that the Hills Have Eyes *Unrated* was in the 5 dollar bin..so as i jumped with joy i snatched this and prepared for a day of lounging around the house. *I also snagged Son-In-Law with the Weez Paulie Shore and Jessica wanted me to watch the Number 23 with her* So i have seen the original **since i Love! Wes Craven** just havent had the chance to actually watch the new one yet. so now that i have taken the time to watch it here is my spill toward the movie: *cause im sure everyone is DIEING to know what i thought* i THOROUGHLY enjoyed this movie...probably one of the better remakes i've seen. Now, the movie didnt have the raw smoke feel of the 70's, but it just had a nice raw feel to it. i thought it did have a nice shock factor of gore to it, but not just an overly obnoxious amount *ie: hostel and the lady cutting her eye off*. So in the mountain of crap that is the new millenia horror, i think the hills have eyes definitely rose above the muck and mud and showed us all why radioactive desert people are still scary. what do you guys think? anyone hate it? if so why? and of course, why if you DID like it?

    Definitely an A!

I loved this movie. I was lucky enough to see it in theaters. It was a spur of the moment decision to go see it, so I hardly knew a thing about the movie going into it. I hadn't seen the original at that point and I had no expectations for the remake. I didn't even know it was a remake at the time. With that said, I was very impressed with it. I was on the edge of my seat a lot throughout the movie. I liked it so much, I bought the DVD on the day it was released. It is my second favorite remake of all time. My favorite remake being Dawn of the Dead. I was surprised it didn't do better among the critics. I guess I shouldn't be surprised though. They always seem to be tougher on films in the horror genre.

I loved THHE Remake. Alexandre Aja is already one of my favorite horror dirctors (High Tension) and I cant wait for his Pirahna.

THHE 2 was not only bad, it's one of the worst movies I've ever seen in my life. Prob worse than Ultraviolet which is right up there.
