How Did You Feel About Jason X?

I thought it was a pretty good movie. It was a good way to keep fans happy while they waited for Freddy vs. Jason, sadly it disappointed many fans, but I found it entertaining in many ways. Most of all is that it\'s a pretty cool environment for Jason. Thumbs up!

Well, the way it goes for me....I liked them all. X was good, but I agree, not the best in the series. I did however like it more than JGTH. I think that is the worst of the series, but I know that pretty much everyone thinks that X is. But all in all I liked it a lot, it was a pretty cool movie.

I also agree it was better than JGTH, but hell, that isn\'t sayin too much! JasonX was all right. In my post on HMA I said the movie sucked. I was extremely disappointed with it. I didn\'t like the new Hockey Mask look when it came out, and I STILL don\'t like it. I thought the uber Jason look was retarded. It looked like something off of Power Rangers or something in my opinion. Honestly, I just don\'t understand why they have to change Jason\'s look in every new installment of the series now!! The minor progressional changes from 3-4, perfect. Then when they went to the zombie look in part 6 also understandable and that look rocks. Then in part 7 when we see the effects of the lake, and the propeller damage on the Hockey Mask=Woo-Hoo! The best Jason look ever! Then the downward spiral starts. :angry: I understand Jason had to get a new hockey for JTM, since his other was ripped off his face and broken in half, but WTF was goin\' on with the rest of the look?! How did he get new clothes being under water again for god knows how long? And I hated how he looked under the mask in JTM. Then in JGTH he somehow has the old Hockey Mask with the prop damage back. And new clothes once again. AAAGGHHH!!! And don\'t even get me started on FvsJ.

I love all the Jason movies but X was far from my favorite. It wasn\'t bad though and had some cool kills as WarLock said.

continuity means nothing to me in a jason movie I like the look for FvJ it\'s one of my favorite looks right below part 3-4. I really didn\'t like X. The look was ok and the kills were decent but the rest of the movie was stir-fried anus, however I don\'t think it was the worst of the series the dubious honor would have to go to Part 8 JTM I absolutely hated that movie the kills were lame his look under the hockey was pathetic (fried eggs) and the story was stupid as hell and don\'t get me started on the ending. Anyway X wasn\'t the worst , but certainly not the best it would fall inbetween part five and JGTH in my rankings

Alright, here ya go, my thoughts.

Jason X was one of the worst movies I have ever seen, not just in the series, but out of EVERYTHING. It was a real slap in the face to me, as a Friday fan. First off, I REALLY hated that hog nosed piece of crap mask, who ever came up with that idea should be beat with a lead pipe, it looked horrible and just pissed me off throughout the movie, what was wrong witht he mask he\'d been wearing for the previous 9 years?!?!?! Second, Robo Jason is about the dumbest thing they could have possibly done with the character, looked like a damn power ranger villain for christ sake! Who the hell came up with the genious plan to endow Jason with robotic parts? All I could do was sit with my mouth gaping, trying to convince myself this wasn\'t really happening.

The plot and story were so terrible I have no clue how the screenplay even got passed on, well, simply to make some money, that\'s how. The acting was about the worst in the series, and the characters were not believable at all. Jason in space was a complete and utter joke, watching that was the closest I have ever been to walking out of a movie I paid for, and a big reason why I go to so few movies now. All in all I would rather have a mercury enema then sit through that deplorable instalment in the franchise again. The only good thing about the film was it was set so far into the future, all other sequals can completely igonre it. And if they make a Jason X 2 I\'m burning every piece of Friday merchandise I own.
