Just saw this over on the HMA. I didn\'t really know where to post it since the items are for sale...posted here since it is more of an informative topic.
Please...don\'t shoot the messanger. I just thought some may want to look into it.

Thats pretty cool. I guess if that is the case, prices on hockey masks will start going down due to competition.

now its not a good thing theres already too many makers trying to cash in by making cheap non detailed mask and selling for up there..prices will only go down for those competing i personally have no competition only way i will is if someone starts trying to paint accurate then i will have competition..but my prices will only get higher if that case...and theres plenty of Hockey Mask makers but im not one im a replica maker not a Hockey Mask maker

Well anyway, I\'d personally love to see what people will come up with when theres 1st gen masks widely available for so long theres only been cropsy and justin making hockey masks from 2nd gen molds, now alot more people will have a chance.

i got 1st gen right now direct from a pull off the screen mold..and if these are widely avaible then theres no need in collecting casue it makes every peice in someone collection less and less valuble its like if there was a box of 1000 kirks found nad sold off for a measly 400 a pop then theres no point in collecting it..not to mention peope are gonna recast the shit outta these and sell for 150 and paint for 10 minutes nad make profit while the piece itself is worht crap which forces people who actually spend liek 13-15 hours paint per mask either not put as much into it or charge up there for paint work..outta all the peopel who make hockey masks now only like 5 are good and try to put detail in them the rest are after the fast money

I actually was wondering about how you got that mike? I thought you filled Ryan Bean\'s buck with plaster to make a more detailed buck right? Now I know Ryan isn\'t sure about where these masks came from but if it was actually a recast of a part 4 mask like he said earlier than wouldn\'t that still make a second gen buck? Not trying to shit in anyone\'s cornflakes here, just a bit confused on that subject. And back on topic, I thin most collectors care more about getting a great quality and accurate replica not how rare it is and the future resale value.
