    Hey guys!
    Big Grin

We were so close to buying a house on Crystal Lake here in FL...they wouldn\'t budge on the price or else we might have been moving in by now.

Check it out...the lake is right in the back yard. There\'s a "no swimming" sign (that I didn\'t get a picture of...stupid me!) because of rumors of a young boy that drowned in the lake.

that would be so cool, and I don\'t think I\'d be able to resist walking around at night in a Jason costume through neighbors yards. ROFL
yeah I\'m sure the cops would be there pretty quick.

Haha, my wife and I were already making plans to have a haunt there! I would LOVE to sneak around in my part 7 costume...with a heads up to the police just to see if they\'d let me have a little fun.
    Tongue

The house is one story, 3 BR, 2 BA...I can\'t remember the sq. ft...but they want $240,000 for it! It\'s in our price range, but it\'s not worth that much. It\'s been on the market for 4 months, which should tell them something about their price.

Good god, I own 38 acres of land with a pond, a seperate garage, 2 barns, the house is two story 3 bedroom, with a full attic and basement, and it\'s all located between Rt 11 and interstate 81 which are the 2 main roadways in NY state! And it\'s only valued at about $175,000

Who the hell are they trying to fool?

I must admit that housing prices are through the roof right now and they\'re only going to get worse...that\'s why we\'re trying to buy now. Their price is a bit high, but all of the houses here are overpriced. It makes me sick! I can buy a HUGE house up in PA (my home state) for the same price that I can buy an average one here.

Outrageous, isn\'t it? The cost of living here is so damn high...

I used to live in Middletown, CT, and there was a crystal lake where I had a summer camp when I was alot younger. I still have my old back pack that said something like Crystal Lake Recreational

Well I would have been posting "look where I live" if they would come down on their price...it sure was fun walking around the lake and getting pictures though. I\'m a fisherman too, what a dream to have a lake in my back yard.
