I went nuts when I saw pics of these online..... the screen-used ones are always around 10 grand...but this baby is at a cool $169.99......plus it comes with the stand and is molded from a screen-used stunt puppet. I hope the actual item looks as awesome as the pic at ToyFair.
    I just ordered mine!!!!!!!

Anyone else planning on getting one?

When are these coming out I\'ve seen April, May and August? I\'m always skepticale with preordering because by the time the item is released your no longer covered by paypal.

Also where did you find at $169.00 at the lower price I may just bite the bullet and preorder lol.

I would NOT be a happy camper if the item doesn\'t look like that when you get it as you did pay $170 so it\'s not like you went out to TRU and bought a $10 figure . Keep their number handy so you can give them a call when you get it and see if you can have it fixed to look like the toy fair pics that they advertised because that\'s what you paid for .

It most likely will not look like the production one and im okay with that. There is one maker that I know of that makes these off the movie mold with an insane paint job and it goes for 1500. The way I look at it is in getting a blank for $200 which I can them get an insane paint job done for 400. I would be in for 600 and have the same $1500 replica.

So for $200 your going to get what you pay for.

I never pay any pre-orders with paypal.....that\'s why God invented credit cards. Entertainment Earth doesn\'t charge your card until the item ships. That\'s why God invented Entertainment Earth!

As for the physical appearance.....I perhaps am not as nutty as some of you when it comes to paint. For $169, I\'m fine if they left the dang thing blank. The mold-pull is what I treasure. And I like licensed items for some reason. I always have. On top of that, the stand/display is a big selling point to me.

And on top of it all, not only does Entertainment Earth not charge my credit card until I ship, the company also has never been caught taking money from it\'s clientele and not sending the item in return - something I cannot say the same for many mask/prop makers out there in the non-licensed market.

While everything is always a gamble when you order online... non-studio pics of the Gremlin will certainly post to the \'net before my item ships - which always gives me the opportunity to cancel if I so desire. I do know, that there are only 1,000 of these...so I figured I\'d rather be on the cautious side- especially when I always have the opportunity to cancel.

Sweet I did not know they did not charge until the item comes in. I don\'t have any more credit cards but I do have. A debit card that will work the same way so I think m going to order tonight thanks for the info man. I agree for the price it cants be beat even if it was a blank. I plan on getting it reprinted but will prob keep it stock for a little while as I have some other projects in the works.

I agree the stand is def a big selling point for me as well. So any idea on the actual release date? Every site seems to have a different date.

From my experience, there\'s no way they release by May (as they predict)... I\'ll more likely expect it around Christmas. As long as they don\'t charge my credit card until it ships, I\'m in no hurry. I just don\'t want to miss out....
