Weathering A Glove

hey guys ( and girls ) , i just got my glove today from freddygloves.com and i\'d really like it to look like a part 4 . could anyone give me some pointers on how to weather the copper parts to look like the part 4 glove so it\'s not so plain ?

Here\'s a link to what I did with mine. I just smeared some black paint and spilled solder on it. Contrary to what others might say, the solder stuck on and never fell off.

It\'s really a good idea to heat the backplate, then apply the solder. That\'s just in my personal experience. :wink:
