I finally setup an account for just play things Smile Anyway, I have 785.00 in the account and have 90.00 credited to my paypal from something I just sold, total of 875. However when I went to paypal someone 800.00 it sent me a reciept but it says "uncleared". I dont understand this, the funds are there. Anyone had this happen to them? Any help is always appreciated. Thanks

Uncleared usually comes up when you send someone funds and the address you provide isn\'t "confirmed" or you are not verified. Or if you send an e-check. It takes 4 days to process and then it will clear. Do you have your bank account registered w/ paypal also?

Yeah, its verified and so is he. He got an email saying the same thing. Also when I click on uncleared it says it expects it to clear the 8th. :ermm: But i didnt send a check so why would it be waiting to clear?

When you sent the money you must have done in it (on accident) as an echeck which will come from your bank account. This can not be stopped but if the funds are not there in your bank they will take it from your balance.

Youre right. Damn it!! I was just looking at it closer and it says "echeck". So does this mean that im over drawn or will they take from that 90 thats in my paypal? How do I set it so im not sending an echeck? Thanks

If you sent a payment to someone as an e-check and you want to reverse it, all you have to do is ask the person to go into his paypal account and hit cancel/refund payment. That\'s it. When you make another payment make sure you hit the tab that says "more funding options". Then click on your paypal balance or credit card and bingo! Hope that helps.

I think even if the recipient reverses the payment, it will still take 4-5 days to show up in your account again... its best just to wait it out at this point.
