Halloween 3 is great. Classic 80's vibe, great Halloween/October feel, and a fun score. Nice masks, great lead character, etc.

I wish the series took that direction rather than bringing Michael back... He died in H2, as far as I see it.

and i agree with you steve on the soundtrack was awesome and it had an amazingly eerie feel to it. i did enjoy cochran a WHOLE bunch haha

and to mike, i think thats most of the reason i was so put off to it, if it was called JUST season of the witch, i would have enjoyed it in all its 80's horror cheese, HOWEVER since it was preceded by the title Halloween 3, it leaves a sour taste in my mouth. so OVERALL i give it a C- *without reading the Halloween, part of the title* but as a "Halloween" sequel....definitely a failed attempt at creating an empire IMO

You're forgetting the intention of the Halloween series after Halloween 2: to tell Halloween tales. Due to the lack of success of the idea, they brought "whitey" back.

If anything, you should be pissed at Halloween 4 for bringing "whitey" back and not continuing that awesome idea of different Halloween tales. Wink

No, Halloween 4 saved the FRANCHISE, but it led to a bunch of horrible movies that ruined the series. In my opinion anyways. Tongue

Sorry you feel it's "doo doo", it's one of those movies that either you get it or you don't.
I happen to love it...it's a masterpiece. MM died in HMH and that's that. I'm perfectly fine with the Halloween title in front of part3 and i find it a real shame that people couldn't embrace the direction that JC wanted to go with the series. It would have been fun to see what other movies he would have done with a Halloween (the holiday) theme. Instead we got a train wreck. So basically for me it's
    H1,2&3 and i'm done
