eh... Was disappointed, but not as disappointed as I thought I\'d be. It was better than FvsJ, but that ain\'t sayin\' much considering the movie was a complete TURD!!! IMO another rushed movie made to be a cash whore instead of for the fans....yadda yadda yadda.....face it fellow geeks, expect to be disappointed. The times they are a changin\' and don\'t get your hopes up for Exorcist, \'cause I think ....wait....\'sniff\' \'sniff\'.....oh, I think I smell another turd.

wow! misfit, nowonder you arae a noob!!! FvJ was far far superior albeit flawed to avp, and does anyone rememeber that the preds come to erth to hunt "only in the hottest months" what the shit is antarctica all about!!! jesus the holes in the plot of AVP are soo big that it leaves more questions than awnswers, a buddy of mine said he loved it, and reminded me that he also loves godzilla movies to! thats fine... but A GODZILLA MOVIE IS NOT TRYING TO BE SOMTHING IT IS NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!! imean when the pred unmasks himself the mask\animatronics blow!!! i have seen superior fan made pred heads which don\'t look like vynal. it was a piece of shit guys pure and simple, I went into this movie knowing it would suck, just like i did freddy VS jason, but i left freddy vs jason feeling satisfied and hapy with then outcome. this movie at points i was laughing out loud! like when they would show the pred and that girl together running.....t was just reeeleee lame! i gave it my full attention, and tried to find the good in it, besides the 5 whole min of the aliens VS pred where they actualy fight everything else sucked balogna tits!!!

I read alot of the comics but i dont remember anything remotely similar to the movie...could anyone let me know the title of the comic the movie was influenced by?

ps. i also noticed the horrible mask that the pred actor was wearing and actually made a comment to my friend about it during one of the few breaks in laughter

they\'re all called "Alien vs Predator" , thats the name of the series, each comic or storyline has its own title also...for example, "Bad Blood", "The Deadliest of the Species", "Eternal"...

the original mini-series of Alien Vs. Predator (sorry I\'m probably going back before you\'re time I read this series of comics over ten years ago), taking place on some back water ranching colony, had alot of the elements from the movie such as a predator befriending a strong willed woman, the woman mercy killing her friend that was impregnated after the predator offered to do it, and finally the predator giving her the mark of his clan by using the finger of a dead alien.
