Ok I was gonna do a myers mask but then I thought Id like to do something different. I decided to do the wolfman. This is where I am at on it right now. Feedback? I am terrified the mold is gonna break on me, the reason I say that my first attempt at making a mask was of a freddy sculpture I did. I loved the sculpture spent forever on it, and then the mold broke shattering my hours of work. I hope this one turns out, as it will be great painted and did up with fur hair!<img src=\"http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s252/brettfields/mywolfmansculpture007.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s252/brettfields/mywolfmansculpture011.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s252/brettfields/mywolfmansculpture010.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s252/brettfields/mywolfmansculpture006.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s252/brettfields/mywolfmansculpture004.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s252/brettfields/mywolfmansculpture003.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s252/brettfields/mywolfmansculpture002.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />

It's got a very old school feel to it, I like that. Only suggestion is work on the eyes a bit more, study the human anatomy of the eye socket make sure to put lot's of detail into it.

thanks fang, yeah I am going for the lon chaney jr look. Where all of the fur type etchings are that is gonna be where all the fur hair will go. I am gonna make top poofy like good ole Lons was. I plan on doing more to the eyes, Im not nearly finished sculpting yet this is just what I have done since I started on it a couple hours ago. Im gonna let it sit a couple days then go back to it. I hope that this will turn out as I have wanted a nice wolfman mask.

I see awesome potential for a mask there, just a little tweaking like people before me said, and it should be perfect man <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" />

Potential there but I think you need to do A LOT of refining. Use a rake to make the anatomy more fluent and realistic and don't stop roughing it until it's real anatomy. You seem to be detailing far too early. But, this is how you learn. I know I haven't learned yet! LOLKeep at it!

i really like how it has that old school look to it but you may have detailed too early on it like Dan said . like if you were gonna do a Freddy , you would want to sculpture a Robert England first and then add the details after so you get the right facial forms down . unless you're one of these amazing sculpters on here that can pretty much sculpture a piece with their eyes closed lol . now is the "fur" going to be sculpted in like on the piece right now or are you gonna smooth that out and put actual fur on it instead ?mike,

The fur is actually gonna be fur hair. I am just using that as reference for now.
