Yep work on the forms first and the then shapes before thinking about details.something that looks wrong is the mouth area.I can see that you are sculpting on a head armature and to have a sculpture with an open mouth on an armature without an open mouth is very dificult to acheive as the whole face shape changes, ie jaw goes down , nose goes up and forehead comes down ,hard to get it looking right when you have a bust underneath as it some what limits the movement you can acheieve. The teeth should also be further back in the face than what they are. What I sometimes do is get some one to pull the same pose that you are sculpting and take photos of them from all angles so you get a better idea of the shape and depth of the face.Like hellbilly said, use some anatomy pics for reference of the muscle structure in the face and it will help your sculpts in future.and yea the fx lab is the best place to show your work and get some good advice.hope that helps

Definitely a great attitude to have! Most newbies get really put off by criticism because they take it to heart rather than using it to learn. David's Dr. Tongue was always a sweet piece! I think it was solid ultra cal 30 right D?

I bought the monster makers kit, I used the wrong clay( they give you two types) so the sculpture cracked and crumbled in the molding process. I got so pissed off, but I gave it a good while and am trying again. Here is a pic of the freddy sculpture<img src=\"http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s252/brettfields/myfreddysculpture.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s252/brettfields/backofmyfreddysculpture.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />

You used the molding clay to sculpture? LOL, man that's great. I can't help but to laugh. It's a lot easier to use than their crappy oil based clay I bet.
