I saw it, and disliked it. I think I prefer Sammy Davis Jr as the caterpillar...

I am so glad I am not the only one who thought this was a letdown. Did NOT live up to the 8 months of hype!

It was honestly the only movie I have walked out of in the past 15+ years. It was like watching paint dry.

as much as I love Burton and the Alice and Wonderland story, I doubt I will see this in theaters. It's kinda like Dark Knight all over again. As much as I LOOOVE Batman, I almost didn't want to see TDK in public because of all the hype. That's one thing that turns me off when it comes to movies. I hate conforming and seeing a movie when I know it's huge and everyone else wants to see it. Alice is another example. I'd like to see it just to see how it is, but after all of the leftover twilight kids waiting in line at midnight to see it, I really think I will just rent it. especially after all I've read, too...

the end was kind of cool but it was mostly 2 hours of pure boringness

The CGI effects were good but it was honestly a boring movie. The thing I did like is it wasn't a remake but a continuation of the original.

Haven't seen it yet, but I don't have high hopes after reading reviews. I guess if I see it in theaters it's for the 3-D aspect only. This is still my personal favorite version of the film - it was aired on TV in 2 parts in '85. Yup good ol' Sammy Davis Jr.http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088693/
