    I have been wanting one of these for a long long time... and I finally took the plunge and ordered one! They are long discontinued, but you can find them on eBay from time to time. This is the authentic replica from the movie Gladiator, the best "Spaniard" helmet money can buy. I was a little skeptical at first b/c of the promotional pics, but daaaaaamn this helmet blows me away! It\'s constructed very very well of 18 and 20 gauge steel and is extremely heavy (feels like wearing 2 football helmets). This is one piece that will never leave my collection! Maximus!..... Maximus!.......

    Jeeze that is beautiful, congrats Chad! I was SOOO damn tempted to grab one of those myself, still am! Would love to add a nice Roman piece to my European helms. Have a 12th century Crusader\'s Great helm, and a 13th century Horn Skull, or Pig Face Bascinet. I should take some new pics of em.
