Trying to get written permission from a maker is usually a lost cause, sometimes you buy something on eBay you don't know who made it, or you will never hear from the seller again. They made their money they are not going to write in for you. Probably would not even email for you either. This is why many people just won't submi anything. Most artists would be proud to have their wok on the DVD and I highly doubt would be claiming about it, especially if credit is given. But yeah I don't see the problem unless like you said names and logos non NOES are showing. Anything Feddy or Newline should be fair game. Once you by a mask you bought the rights to exhibit it as far as I am concerned, and giving credit to the maker is merely a cordial gesture. That is why you pay big bucks you OWN it. I always credit mask makers regardless with my life-sized costumes.
