Saw this on another board and thought it was pretty funny:
    _______________________________________________________

Why is a costume better than a wife/girlfriend?

    Because:

1: Buying a $900 costume will bring more happiness than a $900 diamond ring.

2: A costume doesnt mind if you have another.

3: You can change something on a costume if you dont like the way it looks.

4: When you get a costume, you can get it EXACTLY the way you want it.

5: When you get a costume, you know what youre getting yourself into from the start.

6: A costume wont get mad if you forget its birthday/anniversary.

    7: NO IN-LAWS!!!

8: You dont mind spending money to make your costume look better. And you dont have to spend hours in the mall doing it.

9: A costume doesnt mind if you say, "Wow, his costume looks way better than mine!"

10: A costume only talks when you want it to.

    11. When you get tired of your costume, you can sell it to finance a better one.

    12. knowing somebody else was in the costume dosn\'t seem like a big deal.

    13. You can drool over another costume, and it wont get jealous.

    14. Dont have to explain to a costume where you went last night.

    15. You may have multiple costumes without jealousy between them.

    16. A costume will never leave you a Dear John letter. Especially when your name isn\'t john.
