I am a local celebrity now, and have been for last 20 years lol. They always know who I am when I show up because there is a HUGE difference between my costumes and all the others who don't really put much effort into them. Well they all don't know who I am personally, but they know me as that "guy with the cool Jason and Michael Myers costumes." Soon to be Freddy. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":biggrin:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" /> I used to just go around on Halloween night but people begged me to start going in parades years ago. So I now I am in about 5 or so each year, maybe more this year.With all the money that I have spent on making costumes, I like to dress up as much as possible because it is a LONG wait until the next year. Many others took a ton of pics and videos, I wish I had them all. It is always hard to decide what to be, or if I want to just be one part for all the parades or various parts. This year I may do several parts. Should be fun and I can't wait. The reactions of the fans/people are priceless, especially in the HUGE parade at Catawissa where I walked about 2 hours straight! I was the only one in the parade that freaked everyone out and had the crowd yelling out at me every turn, or stunned with silence.I play the 'Kane Hodder pissed off look' to the letter, whereas with part 6 I have to be more so just an invincible and emotionless zombie which is more realistic but not as fun. I heard one guy mutter "he even walks mean." Lol. It is definitely an awesome experience. I hope to have a new spinal/ribs vest from Twistedtoybox this year to ease the pressure on my neck from the gore chest I modified. Some new I was part 7 even, but most don't even know the difference between Michael and Jason let alone the various Jasons. One kid and his brother was dressed up in one of those bad cheap hockey masks from Walmart, regular clothes, and I heard him say "That is the real Jason, you are just a cheap imitation one." Lol. I also had a ton of parents finally come up to me after the parade when I had to take the mask off to drive home asking where I bought it lol. I had to explain how I made it, and only bought the parts and put it all together myself. When they heard the time and money I spent making it, they lost interest in trying to replicate it thankfully. But then asked me to make them for their kids lol. But I don't want a bunch of little kids going around looking like me, as funny as it would be and people calling them "Jason's kids" etc. It would kill the mystery and mystique. I love showing up with something no one else will ever have, and their costumes are mostly just generic. Some are good homemade ones but not scary ones usually. People forget Halloween is about being scary, not sexy and cute. At least in my day it was...
