There are some great threads that have been posted about this very issue, you should do some searches, or check Brad's thread, as I'm sure there is some thorough advice. Some suggest perma-wet to make it slimy, some use silicone caulking, some use diluted rubber cement (which I think would be a pain). Whatever works for you.<!--QuoteEnd
<!--QuoteEEndits cool man no worries i heard that perma wet was a good idea for it i just need to learn how to use it

I've had my successes and failures when dealing with perma-wet. Maybe someone who has examples of using silicone caulking.

Be carefully using rubber cement it's toxic and will cause burns on your skin. I suggest using perma wet

jasonfan2009: Here is a picture of the original, screen-used Part 8 shirt for your reference...You may have to dye a shirt to your liking or use some perma-wet, as a lot of people have done.[attachment=31523:REALpart8shirt.jpg]Cheers,Ryan

If you read my thread Jasonfan, you would see that I use Mod Podge for the wet look. It will only crack on highly stressed areas such as wrists etc, so beware of that on arm pieces. But on the other flat parts like the chest, shoulder, thight etc, it lasts a long time. It is also a lot cheaper than permawet

I have browsed forums for years before joining. My "actions" were relevant to the information and answering the question of the poster. He asked how to make a costume and I posted my thread. Advertising would be posting my thread in every post for no reason. In this case I provided the necessary information because I am qualified to as I created the costume. Even in the past I was simply sharing my costume in another thread of the same costume. But you (jigsaw) or whatever new name you are now using, and sickness got all bent out of shape. So you obviously did not get over that.To you maybe it was advertising in his thread, to me it was a sharing of another costume that is the same. But in this case you are DEAD WRONG for sure as I am sure the author would agree and anyone else with an ounce of sensibility. But I guess next time I will just post that I did make the costume but with no links or pics, because discussion forums were meant to be blank with no sharing of ideas or question answering, otherwise "you are full of yourself and advertising," especially to those who have made nothing and give out advice based on no experience making the costume in question.<!--QuoteEnd
<!--QuoteEEndi considered it as sharing and trying to help me out at making a costume which is pretty darn awesome

You said he may need to dye a shirt to his liking, but you did not state that the color of the shirt in the pic was incorrect. I just did not want him to assume it was that color originally.
