we have a similar place like that around here it is a power plant, the fish dig the warm water that is discharged into the harbor. I guess I really don\'t like to fish where I know for a fact there are stripers...kind of like cheating.

Back when I worked in a seafood restaurant in Kittery, Maine, I would see a pack (school?) of them daily. The restaurant was built mostly over the water, and in the kitchen, when we tore up lobsters to make stuffed lobsters, the parts we wouldnt use we tossed down a pipe, into the water. If you looked down the pipe, you\'d see MONSTER Stripers eating the lobster. I never did it, but man, if I had wanted to catch those, all I\'d need is lobster for bait (yeah, a bit pricey, but man, these things were HUGE!!!) and just park a small boat under the restaurant and fish away.

Use like 8 poound test and a lite spinning reel to even things out. :wink:
