Wahoo! They came today! I\'m kinda surprised of the material they are made of. Still, it will be fun to work on. My Sister is getting one, so her version is all set.
She\'s coming up tonight, so I better fire up the dremel, LoL
I\'ll use the dremel. I\'ll just have it on a low setting. It should work just fine, with the right sanding bits.

    Got mine.

    1. Shape needs work. I used a heat gun and it worked very well.

    2. Not crazy about the holes. The right cheek holes on mine were all sloppy and bubbly. It looks like I got a f@cked up version.

    3. It doesn\'t feel like abs to me. It snaps when bent ( tested an extra peice )

Is it worth $13 plus shipping? HELL YES!

    Oh...

By the way High speed dremmel settings work just fine. No melting at all. Also cut your holes with the "drill looking" bit. It cut\'s like whoah!! Then sand it.

    Later!!

Oh yeah! We should all post pics when were done!!!!

Well, I finished mine and my sister\'s. I did my sister\'s first. She wanted a copy of my GT War (couldn\'t pick something easy, could she?). I carefully drew on the plastic with a stencil the right sized holes, eye holes and such, and used my dremel to first drill out a started hole in each of the holes, then a sanding bit (cone shaped) to enlarge the holes to the pencil marks I had drawn on there. Worked great. So much so, that while doing this, I did the same for mine. Then the fun began, I sanded it down a bit, so the holes were nice and smooth, then went to town with a dental pick I have, putting in the scratches. After that, I spray painted a base coat of almond on the mask. Then I so totally messed up it aint funny. I don\'t know WHAT was in my head, but I grabbed a can of dark wood stain, thinking I could just wipe on, then wipe off, leaving the stain in the scratches. What I was left with, was this sticky mess that would NOT dry anytime soon! It was oil based, and I must have been WAY overtired not to know what that would do. My sister was up visiting over the weekend, so I was kinda in a hurry to finish this thing. Panic set in for a bit, and I used a steel wool scrubie and took as much stain off as I could. Then I ended up repainting the entire thing with black acrylic paint, and then dry brushing almond colored acrylic over that. Worked alot better. Then I watered down some dark brown paint, and using a sponge, dabbed here and there to give it that aged look. BUT, with all that paint on it now, I couldn\'t see the scratches I had put on there, so I spent the entire night painting, BY HAND, each and every scratch on it. What a chore THAT was! Anyways, to make a long story short, I finished by morning, gave it a couple light sprays of acrylic sealer, and she now owns it. She has assured me she will get some pics of it, and when she does, I\'ll post them here for you all to see.
